Couches completely made in Italy.
The SAMOA factory has been creating hand-made couches since 1989. The manufactory in which they have been creating upholstered furniture since the early 70s, was founded in the region of Treviso, in an area where there were an extensive industrialization. Thanks to innovative ideas and their entrepreneurial initiative the company could grab and also improve the craft expertise already present in the area.
After the first few years during which they deepened their competence in the application of technologies and the usage of materials, they have created a commercial network with the help of which beyond meeting needs within the company they could expand with a wide range of customers. The factory operates on an area of 25,000 square meters in three modernly equipped facilities, with more than 150 employees and with the cooperation of the same number of foreign staff.

Research
For SAMOA, research means assessing customer needs and continuously evolving the company to create couches in which regularity, design, practicality and the reasonable price can unite.
The factory pays great attention to the research of new solutions, that also applies to the design and regularity of the products through the usage of materials to pairing different materials of fabric or leather as well. This research is done at their internal center. The prototypes made are subjected to rigorous testing to guarantee the safety and durability of the product, but at the same time, of course, attention is also paid to aesthetics. Only after a long and careful elaboration they come to the decision to include a product in their offer.
Quality
The success of a couch depends not only on providing an eye-catching sight, but it is also the result of a competition to meet high quality standards.
During the production they pay special attention to the design, and then to the conformation and the selection of materials as well. Wooden structures and springs, together with different types of shape-retaining paddings which are covered with polyester filling material or a mix of feathers, are the key elements of ensuring the appropriate standing, flexibility and durability. The careful selection of fabrics and leathers offer a wide range of coatings in quality and colors as well, and it provides the customization of the product.
