Zoffoli globes
The Zoffoli Mappamondi S.r.l. factory located in Rimini produces its globes famous all over the world for almost 60 years. In 1950, Italo Zoffoli began making globes and created his first pieces on his own, entirely by hand. He was obsessed with all existing map types from antique to modern and this could have led it to become a corporate empire that he started alone.
Under his hands, the raw materials suddenly formed into a globe. Then he painted them by hand, creating unique and inimitable works of art. Mr. Zoffoli became famous very soon and the fame of the former small entrepreneur spread. His small workshop soon took on industrial proportions, but one of the most important elements of the story was that the founder and his family paid special attention to make handcrafted, high-quality products and mass production does not infect the spirit of their products. By now, the company has evolved even further, and many decades of experience have merged into their ars poetics - every employee of the company is imbued with the maximalism of Mr. Zoffoli, which is tangible on every product manufactured.
