Explorers, unknown new worlds, long sea journeys in wild waters, lands man has not entered yet. Also referred to as the "Golden Age of Cartography," the 1500s map is a perfect reproduction of all the magic that has characterized the age. This beautiful map bears the handprints of Waldeseemüller, Piri Reis, Friscus and Mercatore and faithfully restores the spirit of the age. Today, when sitting in front of a computer we can search for any point in the world, it is hard to imagine this age, but perhaps that is why there is so much charm and so much mystique in it. Following the world famous map researchers, one is happy to meditate on such a map for long minutes. With its iconographies and mythical, drawn characters, it is an almost fairytale-like work of art, which, placed in the right environment, is a perfect complement and certainly fulfills the hopes placed on it.
