Tabletops

Each Sedit table is crafted using premium, durable and easy-to-maintain materials. Every surface is designed to preserve its aesthetic and functional value for years to come, representing true Italian craftsmanship.

Textured Matte Tabletops

Textured matte (materico) tops are made of particleboard panels coated on both sides with decorative paper or melamine foil. Their surface is highly resistant to everyday wear while offering a natural, tactile look. Cleaning is easy – use a soft, damp cloth with a mild, neutral detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners, alcohol, ammonia or acetone, as well as excessive moisture and direct contact with hot pans.

Tempered Glass Tabletops

Tempered glass is produced by heating sheets of glass to around 700 °C and cooling them rapidly, creating surface compression that provides exceptional strength and thermal resistance. It withstands temperatures up to 250 °C and is considered “safety glass” because, in case of breakage, it shatters into small, blunt pieces. Available in clear or smoked finishes.

Sedit’s ceramic tops are made of genuine porcelain stoneware (gres porcellanato), renowned for its exceptional resistance. They are heat, scratch, and stain-resistant, non-porous, UV-proof, and completely hygienic – ideal for indoor or outdoor use.

Printed Glass Tabletops

Printed glass tops are made of extra-clear tempered glass with digitally printed designs and a protective white backing. This technique recreates the visual richness of real marble while maintaining the strength and lightness of glass. Resistant to heat and scratches, it brings a refined and modern touch to any contemporary interior.
