Martindale cycles: it means the so-called seating cycles, according to strict industry standards, this is the number of times you can sit on a seating furniture without any visible damage of the fabric. Fabrics that can withstand 10-15,000 cycles are recommended for private, home use, those between 25-35,000 for office and community use, and 35-40,000 cycles are already sufficient on public transport, and even in case of extreme use.
