G&G Italia was founded as a craft carpentry workshop in the 40s, in Quarrata, a small town of Tuscany.

Structure

G&G seats are made of solid wood (beech, poplar and pine), and there are also reinforced crossbeams under the seating parts. In their inside they use highly resistant elastic straps that are coated with polyurethane foam of various densities. In the seat padding they can also place springs in addition, while in the upper part a filling allows that the padding always remains tight in the center. The outside of the seating parts is covered with a layer that ensures a soft and easy comfort to every seat.

Coatings

Through their many years of experience in the furniture manufacturing sector, they have been able to achieve the best possible quality and in addition, they use the most carefully selected materials to coat their seating furniture.

Leather and its advantages:

• leather is a natural material that can almost breath and it can absorbe humidity equivalent to 25% of its own weight;
• it can easily fit ambiences with any temperature, so it can also pick up and keep the temperature of human body;
• dust or animal hair does not stick to it, thus causing no allergic complaints;
• it is as elastic and natural as our own skin.

Fabrics

All fabric materials used by G&G Italia (microfibers, velvet, satin) has exclusively the Made in Italy mark. They selected them carefully according to the needs of furniture market, and they pay attention to the fact that the materials reflect sophistication and originality in their models. Stain resistant fabrics that can also resist to dust mites, can meet all type of needs from classic to modern ones.

Relax function

With the unique relaxing function that can be operated both electronically and manually, there are two ways to move the seat. The first option opens the footrest and slightly overturns the seating part and the backrest. The second one, thank to the so-called Zero Wall mechanism, extends the seating part and lowers the backrest so it can provide maximum relaxation position in even a small place. This was invented so that the couch or armchair can be opened up to even 5 centimeters from the wall without having to move it away every time we would like to relax, so we can do it in maximum comfort even in the smallest place.

Bed function

Almost all models of the manufacturer are also available with an internal bed structure with a 6 cm thick orthopedic mattress, which can be opened in 3 movements. The pull-out bed part is available with wooden or metal structure conformation. If the customer needs it, a higher quality, aloe vera covered mattress can be chosen, which provides natural and relaxing comfort.
